Senior Financial Analyst, Process Improvement & Systems Development
This job role is responsible for managing and implementing projects related to National Financial Systems. This will include analyzing, resolving, documenting and explaining issues or inquiries as they arise and being a subject matter expert for various elements of the SAP project. It also includes working with the business to understand requests for enhancements to existing systems and processes. You will work closely with the Business Consulting group by driving with the required documentation for development. Once the changes have been completed you will be responsible for testing and implementation. Our department is very project oriented; therefore, they may be opportunity for involvement in other Process Improvement & Systems Development projects as deemed appropriate or necessary.
Accountabilities
Analyzing, trouble shooting, explaining and resolving inquiries from business users.Drive creation of required documentation (ie: RFS, BRD, process documentation etc...) enhancements to existing systems as requested by the business and approved by management.Liaison between the business and ISD to ensure both parties understand and meet reporting expectations.Fluent in BiQuery, Access and Eztrieve and Smartview an asset.Create adhoc queries using MS SQL, FPMS and EZTrieve.Lead testing of enhancements.Subject Matter Expert on GL and related Legacy systems and processes for SAP implementation.Coordinate and facilitate meetings with the business and IT as required. (compile and issue minutes).Take a lead role in communicating and addressing system issues and road blocks to management.
