Key Job Requirements:
Work with finance and replenishment teams to help manage inventory levels in LCL's distribution centers.Work with replenishment team to identify inventory at risk due to any of : stale-dating, excess inventory levels, loss, etc.Work with replenishment team and DC operations to identify over stock in one DC or region that could be redeployed in another.Work with Transport scheduling to reduce the days on hand for promotional stock and seasonal goods by bringing goods in closer to the distribution date to the stores, total inventory can be reduced.Work with replenishment and category to identify over stock goods left over from promotional activities that need to be acted upon so as not to create long-term inventory.Work with Replenishment and DC Operations to identify DNO goods and help create an action plan to liquidate them.Work with Replenishment and DC Operations to identify slow moving stock that needs to be evaluated as a listed SKU.Help build an annual inventory budget with the Finance and Replenishment teams, reforecasting as needed during the year.
Experience and Skills:
Retail/wholesale business excperienceDesignated accountantGood communicator - from senior management to buyers and warehouse supervisorsSystems savvy (getting information can be difficult) |
