ABOUT PROJECT SC2010: Supply Chain 2010 is a multi-year strategy to transform Loblaw Companies Limited Supply Chain fundamentals. We are working towards one nationally, centrally managed Supply Chain. This exciting initiative will concentrate on accelerating flows to deliver the customer the freshest products focusing on improved inventory management capabilities, planning, forecasting and replenishment. ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position is responsible for work related to the supplier enablement work stream within SC 2010 and reports to the Senior Manager of Supplier Enablement.
Supplier Enablement is a group tasked with engaging the supplier community on behalf of the SC 2010 program. As a key work stream within SC 2010, the Supplier Enablement group is responsible for supplier analytics, communication, engagement with the supplier community, engagement with the business units and logistics community and is responsible to be the voice of suppliers within the project.
The candidate will be responsible for the development of work plans, engaging the various groups within SC 2010 to develop capabilities and supporting a roadmap for supplier on boarding, execution of work plans and analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execution of projects in support of the overall SC 2010 strategy
• Working directly with supplier community to assist them with execution of Loblaw requirements
• Develop effective communication both internally to LCL and externally to the supplier community
• Assist in the development and coordination of supplier information including analytics and supplier surveys
• Evaluate supplier responses and compliance to industry standards and best practices
• Prepare and complete cost-benefit analyses
REQUIREMENTS:
• Post secondary education or degree
• Experience in a supply chain or merchant organization
• Strong experience working with suppliers in a customer capacity
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
• Very detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in systems implementations or project work is an asset
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Good experience with MS Office
• Strong French skills will be an asset
• Travel may be required
• Knowledge of Loblaw internal systems would be an asset |
