Acceptable Site Use.

General Rules: Users may not use any DiversityCareers.ca Site in order to transmit, distribute, store or destroy material, including without limitation Web Site Content, (a) in violation of any applicable law or regulation, (b) in a manner that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others or violate the privacy, publicity or other personal rights of others, (c) that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, abusive or hateful. Users will not use DiversityCareers.ca as a vehicle to advertise other companies (with the exception of specific job postings). Job postings or resumes that advertise multi-level marketing schemes (MLM), pyramid schemes, "jobs" that require candidates to spend money, pornographic or questionable materials, or anything contrary to Washington State or United States laws are strictly prohibited.

Employers may not contact jobseekers regarding matters unrelated to job openings or offers for employment. For example, e-mailing jobseekers to offer a "business opportunity" or the services of your company without extending a job/interview offer is prohibited. It is also unacceptable to contact jobseekers or advertise anything that require jobseekers to make a significant investment (as determined by DiversityCareers.ca).

Jobseekers are prohibited from contacting employers on matters other than current job postings. For example, free-lance translators may not contact employers to advertise their services. If DiversityCareers.ca is contacted regarding such solicitations, we will promptly remove you from the database.
